This interactive visualization represents the response of 1360 data visualization practitioners to the 50 questions asked in the 2019 DVS survey.

As a data visualization practioner myself, I was curious what other people's annual salaries were, and how people at different salary levels answered the questions.

To see how respondents at different salary levels answered the questions you can select a salary level on the left by clicking on it. Once you have a salary level selected, you can then choose which questions to analyze by toggling one or more topics on the right.

If you then mouse over any of the radial plotted circles you can see what percentage of respondents gave a particular answer for that topic. You will also see the exact survey question that was asked at the top of the screen.

Note: some questions that have multi-part "select all that apply" answers are further broken down by each part of the answer. For these questions I have grouped each individual answer part by how often they are cited, and as a result the total percentage for that topic will be greater than 100%.
